In early 2020, we were coming off an incredibly strong year business-wise, and then COVID hit and nobody knew what to do. Clients were asking us questions we couldn’t answer, our associates had to became teachers, our houses turned into offices, and the entire way we previously worked together as a team had to be rewritten.
Tracy and I had worked together previously, first as peers and then in a vendor/ client relationship. I became interested in working with Tracy as the pandemic grew, because I knew what she was doing for her clients was bringing them new ideas and success and NIQ needed a new perspective.
Tracy helped our team by championing a new team charter and vision for us. She introduced disciplines allowing us to achieve those goals with shared responsibilities and guardrails.
The result was a new way of working together in a new remote environment where accountability for ourselves and one another was respected and celebrated.
One thing I liked working with her was her FMCG experience which we leveraged, especially when the work got difficult establishing our future vision as a team and identifying the gaps we needed to overcome to achieve our goals.
Overall I found the experience was instrumental for our continued success as a team. The disciplined approach which Tracy leveraged, kept us on track and allowed us to develop a go-forward action plan where the entire team shared responsibilities with a common goal.
I would recommend Tracy to people/teams who need to uncover efficiencies in working together so they can achieve desired financial results, retain critical talent and provide an environment for associate growth opportunities.
